Dear member charities
We appreciate this is a tough time for most member groups. Wether its locating volunteers, changing your device offering or concerns about fund raising.
There are a number of local iniataives developing to try and ease those concerns.
Volunteers
As you may know St John ambulance are doing an amazing job coordinating the call for volunteers. If you wish to volunteer than please email recruitment@stjohn.gg or if anyone needs help or support the email is info@stjohn.gg or call 742147.
Funding
Please note there are also a number of funding options available to charities
- Social Investment Commission (SIF) – new fund
- Lloyds Bank Foundation – emergency funding
- Pargiter Fund – over 65s focus
Please also remember the Great Community Challenge and giving.gg if you are fundraising
#StayConnected support
We have teamed up with AGC and many other charities and businesses to offer video messaging devices for anyone in isolation, shielding or vulnerable. Please check out the #StayConnected project on the matter.gg website for more information on applying for an iPad and wifi, donating 2nd hand devices or assisting fundraising for this project to reduce loneliness and increase independence.
