  • These are the key points for Access for All 2016:
    • We undertook 31 of reviews in Guernsey
    • With the GDA, Wigwam we visited Alderney for 2 days and conducted 14 review with local group Accessible Alderney and met with over 50 people.
    • A4A and GDA members took part in the Saffery Rotary Walk and won the Peter Walker Award for Inclusivity, this was donated to the Ron Short centre in memory of Richard Salisbury
    • Played an active part in ensuring increased accessibility for Election2016 (manifesto and information guidance, physical access guidance, practice polling, etc)
    • Organised a 2 day training course by UK company Centre for Accessible  (CAE) on Access Auditing . 11 islanders from wide disciplines took part including planners, architects, building control and our own team http://cae.org.uk
    • We formally became a charity CH542
